Event Description:
Expert witnesses can make – or break – a case. This panel will discuss recent changes in federal procedural and evidentiary rules relating to these critical witnesses; how practitioners can advance their clients' claims though expert testimony; and how to ensure that courts exercise their gatekeeping role to allow or exclude expert testimony. Drinks and appetizers will be provided starting at 5:30, prior to the discussion at 6:00 p.m.

The event will be hosted by JAMS at its offices in downtown L.A. The entrance to the parking garage is on the west side of Olive Street between 4th and 5th. Parking will be validated.

MCLE: 1.00 Hr. General MCLE; This activity has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education Credit by the State Bar of California.
